Marie Josephine Richard Piano Scholarship
This Scholarship has been generously donated by Helene McGall (Anderson) in memory of her mother, Marie Josephine Richard Anderson. Ms. McGall, a local arts supporter and former fine arts co-ordinator for S.D.71, has selected the Comox Valley Piano Society to administer this scholarship of $500 to be awarded annually. With this scholarship, Ms. McGall hopes to inspire students to commit to their studies and to strive for their own personal excellence in their art. These were qualities that her mother encouraged during her lifetime.
Comox Valley Piano Society Piano Bursary
The CVPS will award bursaries based on the amount of money available in any year. It reserves the right to split the amount available into several bursaries upon recommendation of the bursary committee. The bursary committee, at its' discretion, may also choose not to award a bursary in any given year.
